About Wenger

Wenger was founded in 1893 in the heart of the Swiss watch-making and micro-technology industry, known today as the region of Jura. Innovation, precision, quality of craftsmanship and high technical and aesthetic requirements have always been very important values for the watch-making as well as for the cutlery industry. These attributes are also the ones Wenger is based upon. Over a period of time, the company became a distributor of a great variety of pocket, butcher, kitchen and specialty knives, expanding therefore its range of products. During the past 20 years, Wenger added watches, backpacks, sleeping bags, travel equipment and computer bags.
